Genuine mahogany

Trying to cut some new shelves for an existing mahogany library is nearly impossible.  Genuine mahogany is pretty rare nowadays, likely due to the rapid deforestation of Central and South America.  Apparently it is pretty amazing to work with. I'll never know, since my forefathers basically decimated the entire species.

A decent match at a slightly lower price ($100/sheet) is Sapele, which is a wood reminiscent of mahogany and found in the tropical region of Africa.
